Rear brakes:

Remove the wheel

Observe how the wire clip, spring, and pins sit

Remove the wire clip and pull out the pins with pliers. Remove the spring.

The old pads are now able to be removed

You may have to use pliers to remove the old pads.

The pads are now out. The pistons (the round object behind where the old pads sat) will have to be pushed back to make room for the new pads. Do this for both sides.

Swap the backing plates from the old pads onto the new.

Insert the new pads. You may have to push the pistons back further still.

The new pads are in. Put the spring plate back, and push the pins back through. Insert the wire clip through the ends of the pins. Done!

Front Brakes - remove the wheel and observe how the pins, spring, and clip are positioned.

Remove the wire clip, the pins, and the spring. Remove the old pads.

Remove the old pads and swap the backing plates onto the new.

There are two pistons in each side of the brake, they will have to be puched back before installing the new pads. Th old pads make a useful lever to do this with.

New pads are in, pins, spring, and wire clip are back in place.

Be careful for the first time you press the brakes, the pistons are pushed back. Give the brakes a bit of a pump to firm the pedal before driving.
